Job Title:  Street Team/Events Coordinator
Commitment:  2-4 Events Per Month (on average – with seasonal adjustments)

Location: Worcester County

Employment Type: Per Event Basis (Part-Time W-9 Contractor) (details available upon request)

Job Summary:
Serves as a member of The Q90.1’s Team and reports directly to the Station Manager.  The Events Coordinator will play a vital role in representing the ministry at events, and appearances that align with The Q90.1’s mission and vision and creating an inviting atmosphere at community events. 


Essential Functions / Responsibilities: 

As a Street Team/Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing, planning & execution of Q90.1 Street Team appearances.

  • Facilitating off-site activities and maintaining the integrity of The Q90.1 brand's presence at all events and sponsored activities.

  • Identifying local events and community initiatives that support The Q90.1’s marketing and mission.

  • Contribute strategies to raise The Q90.1’s awareness in Greater Worcester & Central MA.


Objectives of this Role:

In this role, your primary objectives will include:

  • Upholding the company’s mission and vision at every event.

  • Managing timelines effectively.

  • Creating and maintaining consistency in events planning and execution.

  • Maintaining and growing a strong volunteer base for events.



To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Flexibility to be available for some evenings and weekends.

  • A heart for Christian ministry.

  • Strong moral character.

  • Comfortable with praying in front of and for small and large groups.

  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is spiritually grounded with a working knowledge of scripture.

  • An active member of a Bible-believing local church.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Excel.

  • A creative and enthusiastic team player.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be licensed and have a reliable vehicle.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain brand standards.

  • Exceptional planning and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Ability to interact on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

  • The ability to build and foster relationships.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

  • A strong network of established community connections is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
The role may require the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and some climbing. Additionally, the employee must be able to lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
